Final Paddle of 2013
Mon, 10/21/2013 - 19:21 — nickTomorrow is the last TNP of the 2013. As is traditional it is at Esker Point. This year we will go over to Bob Ten Eyck's house for Burgers and Beer after the paddle. Directions from Esker Point to Bob's house will be available after the paddle. If you don't want to paddle you can still join the party afterwards. Bob will provide burgers, please bring suitable TNP food to share.
If you are thinking you might make it, please reply to admin@tnp.kayakforum.com so we can give Bob a heads up on burgers. But don't stay away if you can't reply.

The annual TNP Christmas/ Holiday party has been set for Saturday, December 07, 2013, 6:00pm, at the Lyme Tavern in Niantic, CT (across Route 156 and to the east of the entrance to Rocky Neck State Park).
Dinners will be ordered from the menu. We will have access to 4 televisions in our area to view CD's. If you have a kayaking video or photos on a CD that you'd like to share with the rest of us, please feel free to bring them with you.

Old Saybrook - The Return of the Swallows

Destination - Lord's Cove, to see the approximately 300,000 swallows return before descending onto Goose Island for the night. Bring a light (headlamp) as the trip back to the launch will be after dark.
