Please come to the Christmas Party at Lyme Tavern next Saturday, December 10th.
This is a very informal party, much like our paddles, show up when you want, order what you want, leave when you want. TNP has the side room reserved. Usually there is a DVD player available, if you have photos from past paddles, or videos or anything you think people would like to see, bring them.
Come even if you never make it to any of the paddles but just want to hang out with good people for awhile.
The Tuesday Night Paddlers annual Christmas Party will be held at the Lyme Tavern in Niantic, (East Lyme) CT on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 6:00pm.
The party has been at the Lyme Tavern for a number of years now. They do a very nice job and allow us to do our thing, in our own area. We will be ordering from the menu. They will also provide us with a DVD player so if anyone has videos or photos on a disk that they would like to show, then by all means, bring them.
Destination TBD
We will be launching from the same private yacht club as we have been for the last couple of years. It's on the Connecticut River in Essex. No, this is not a guessing game.
Because the club is private, we have been asked not to post the name and location, thereby avoiding the possibility of someone thinking they have come across a new personal launch site.
The annual gathering of kayak builders. Not necessarily a paddling event although there are generally small groups that go out for some short paddles. All are welcome even if you have not built your own kayak.

Woo hoo, its Spring!
The first paddle of the TNP kayaking season is coming up next week. We will be launching from Esker Point. The water is still cold so dressing for the water temperature with a dry suit or wet suit is highly recommended. You safety is your responsibility so it is your choice.
If you are new to paddling with TNP, please note that the launch time is typically 6:00 pm. This means people will be on the water at 6 and paddling away from the launch. Please arrive early enough to get ready and please introduce yourself to the other paddlers.
