The first paddle of the TNP season is once again out of Esker Point Beach, next Tuesday, April 25. On-the-water time is 5:30. The water is still cold, so please dress appropriately.

Opening Day this Tuesday

Tuesday Night Paddles start for the season this Tuesday, April 26, 2016. On-the-water time is 5:30 at Mystic YMCA.

Winter/Holiday Paddlers Party - Dec. 5, 6:00PM

Once again we will be having the TNP holiday party at the Lyme Tavern Restaurant, 229 West Main Street, East Lyme

Cocktails and socializing begin at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner at 6:30 with more cocktails and socializing. Everyone will order off the menu as always, paying their own check. There are several TVs in the room, if anyone would like to bring their photos, videos, or demos to share.

You are welcome to come even if you didn't make it to any of the paddles last summer.

Private Yacht Club Directions

Next weeks TNP will be at Pettipaug Yacht Club in Essex

Directions
Great Meadow Road, Essex, CT
By Car from I-95:
• Take I-95 to Route 9 north (exit 69), at the West end of the Baldwin Bridge.
• Take Exit 3 (Essex) off Route 9 North.
• At the bottom of the ramp turn left.
• At the first light turn right, and go about 0.5 mile looking for the Essex Library on the left. Just past the library, and just before the Essex Town Hall, turn left onto Grove Street.
• Go to the first stop sign and turn left onto North Main Street.
• North Main shortly becomes River Road (no turns required!)

Open Day This Tuesday At Esker Point

It must be spring, Tuesday Night Paddles are starting this Tuesday. On the water by 6:00. If you are a first timer please arrive early. If you are familiar with TNP you already know that some people arrive early to get more paddling time.

Paddler's Party at Lyme Tavern December 13

Saturday, December 13 we will once again we will be gathering at Lyme Tavern for our annual Winter/Holiday/No-Excuse-Needed party.

Schedule Change. Sept. 9 to Baldwin Bridge

There was no swallow paddle scheduled this year so we are swapping the launch from Great Island on Sept 9th. and making it from Baldwin Bridge on that same day. Please pass the word.

Tuesday August 26 @ Pettipaug YC

Dave Fasulo has once again arranged for TNP to meet at Pettipaug Yacht Club on the Connecticut River. This is a private club so we don't provide directions to the general public for this paddle, but any paddler is welcome.
