I-95 to exit 88 in Groton.
Head towards water (south) thru two lights to the junction of Rt. 1.
Right on Rt. 1. Left at first light (Depot Road).
Continue on to Bluff Point State Park.

The annual gathering of kayak builders. Not necessarily a paddling event although there are generally small groups that go out for some short paddles. All are welcome even if you have not built your own kayak.

Annual gathering of kayak builders and those interested in building their own boats. Generally people gather on the lawn near the parking lot and swap boats. Informal paddles may go out to Pine Island and beyond.
