TNP Decals

It has been years since we had decals made up. These are cut-vinyl paddler logos that can be applied to your car or boat. There are new boats and new paddlers. I would have some made up if I know how many people are interested. Please e-mail me at Joannhodge@msn.com and let me know if you would like a decal. Please put TNP in the subject line. Tell me how many and black or white. The cost for each would be around $4.00 depending how many are ordered.

Directions to the July 14th Old Saybrook Paddle

Posted by Joann,
• Take I-95 to Route 9 north (exit 69), at the West end of the Baldwin Bridge.
• Take Exit 3 off Route 9 North.
• At the bottom of the ramp turn left
.• At the first light turn right, and go about 1/2 mile, looking for the Essex Library on the left. Just past the library, and just before the Essex Town Hall, turn left onto Grove Street.
• Go to the first stop sign, and turn left onto North Main Street.
• North Main shortly becomes River Road (no turns required!)

Schedule Update

Stan has received permission for us to launch at Hole-in-the-Wall beach in Niantic. We will substitute this instead of Quiambaug Cove on June 2nd: http://tnp.kayakforum.com/2009/mar/hole-wall

Please check the website regularly for any other changes.

Thanks,
The TNP Overlords (don't look behind that curtain)

New stuff on the website

Hi TNP'ers,

There's a nice event on Friday evening in Chester that we think people might be interested in, so we've posted information about it on the TNP website.

The Tuesday Night Paddle Schedule Has Been Posted

After much deliberation the schedule for the coming season has been decided on. It is available at http://tnp.kayakforum.com/schedule

We have only scheduled paddles for Tuesdays. If you would like to do a trip on a Saturday or any other day you can post your idea at http://tnp.kayakforum.com/content/show-and-go or discuss on any Tuesday night to get other people to join you.

See you on the water.

Pre-Season Preparations

Despite the piles of fresh snow, it is a fact that the Tuesday Night Paddler's season is fast approaching. It is time to start thinking about where we will paddle this year. The schedule is now in the works. If you have any suggestions, please post your comments at http://tnp.kayakforum.com/newsletter/09/pre-season-preparations. (in order to post comments on the website you must log in at: http://tnp.kayakforum.com/user) Any other ideas or suggestions you may have are also welcome.
